  1. Gridocity.com is a web site Directory where person(s) and/or companies entering data agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
  2. At no time engage in any copyright violations by copying, distributing or selling material contained on this web site property.
  3. At no time enter data and/or images that violate any local, federal, or international laws.
  4. At no time enter data and/or images that is considered to be pornographic or of the ‘X’ rated content that can be deemed inappropriate to the general public.
  5. This Directory will NOT be used for Adult (xxx) rated content. This mature content is NOT allowed to be listed in Gridocity.com nor any SLURL (Second Life URL) directing (via teleporting) a visitor to such content is NOT allowed at any time for any reason whatsoever.
  6. At no time enter data that is considered to be liable to any person(s) or business entities.
  7. At no time enter data of more than one Company for any one unique Log-In & Password
  8. At no time enter data that is not accurate to that Company Name or Teleport location by exploiting or ‘gaming’ the Directory. Abusing or Spamming the Directory would include but not limited to entering Company Names that do not reflect the true nature of that Company’s products or services or the accurate SLURL location within Second Life. Spamming keywords is NOT allowed and will cause immediate deletion of account and related data.
  9. Person(s) and Companies entering data and/or images hold Gridocity.com and its parent companies, employees, officers, and affiliates harmless from any claims by anyone.
  10. gridocity.com and its parent company, employees, officers, and affiliates are held harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Gridocity.com and its parent company, employees, officers, and affiliates, its agents, its customers, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Person(s) and Companies agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Gridocity.com and its parent company, officers, employees, and affiliates against liabilities arising out of: (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Gridocity.com server; (2) any material supplied by anyone infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from Gridocity.com and it’s parent company server.
  11. Gridocity.com and its parent company will not be responsible for any damages customers or their enterprises may suffer. Gridocity.com makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Gridocity.com disclaims any warranty, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, any and all service interruptions caused by Gridocity.com and its parent company, officers, employees and affiliates. Gridocity.com reserves the right to revise its policies at any time. Gridocity.com is not responsible for any data or listings within this web site. Gridocity.com will do its best to monitor and review data input but offers not guarantees whatsoever as to the content of the web site. We encourage reports of abuse or illegal activity.
  12. Gridocity.com does not arbitrate or resolve trademark disputes among Gridocity.com users, advertisers or between those advertisers and third parties. However, Gridocity.com will promptly comply with an order of a court of competent jurisdiction concerning a trademark issue. Gridocity.com will occasionally receive requests to remove listings from within the Directory. Gridocity.com reserves the right to address such requests on a case-by-case basis.
  13. Gridocity.com encourages you to use discretion when browsing the Internet or using the Directory. The Directory may contain information that you find objectionable, harmful, deceptive or otherwise inappropriate, especially for children. To ensure you do not receive offensive material, nevertheless, you must install your own filtering software if you wish to limit the content available through the Directory. If you come across any site that you believe contains child pornography or other illegal material, please contact gridocity@gmail.com and we will contact the authorities as appropriate and delete that data immediately.
  14. At anytime Gridocity.com has the right to delete any account for abuse of rules, violations of Terms of Service, Spamming the Directory or Unethical conduct.
  15. You should consider any communication that you transmit to Gridocity.com (such as data, questions or answers, comments, or suggestions) as non-confidential, and agree that Gridocity.com will not be liable or responsible if information that belongs to you is intercepted and used by an unintended recipient or in error.
  16. Gridocity.com reserves the right to change any information, features and functions of the Directory without prior notice. Gridocity.com may deny you access to all or part of the Gridocity without prior notice if you engage in any conduct or activities that Gridocity.com determines, in its sole discretion, violate these Terms of Service, the rights of Gridocity.com or any third party, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.
  17. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Georgia, USA without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Gridocity.com failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Agreement will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of this Agreement remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Directory must be filed within 10 business days after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
  18. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Directory will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim must be arbitrated on an individual basis, and must not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration must be conducted in Cobb County, Georgia and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof. Either you or Gridocity.com may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Cobb County, Georgia as necessary to protect the rights or property of you or Gridocity.com and its parent company.

Privacy and Data Collection

Gridocity.com and its parent company does not collect personally identifying information from users of the Directory unless users have explicitly given such information to Gridocity.com (for example, when becoming an advertiser or when sending us an email with a question or as part of the Newsletter or contest). Gridocity.com information practices are further described in its privacy policy below. Gridocity.com’s privacy policy is part of this Agreement, and you agree that use of data as described in the privacy policy is not an actionable breach of your privacy or publicity rights. If you have entered into another agreement with Gridocity.com (such as an Affiliate Agreement or an Advertiser Agreement), then you may be subject to additional or different provisions regarding privacy and data collection. Privacy Policy

At Gridocity.com, our mission is to meet the expectancies of our advertisers as well as the visitors and users of our Directory and other resources. In an effort to achieve our goal, we would like to clearly define our position with regard to the Internet, our Web site and your identity. We do not control Second Life or Internet destinations that you may visit once you click a link and leave Gridocity.com. Gridocity.com has no control over the content, products and/or services of any or all of properties not owned by Gridocity.com or its parent company.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the visitor’s domain name.

Gridocity.com collects only the domain name and other information readily available using standard tracking software (such as HITBOX or Click Tracks). We use this data only to track and review internet traffic visits and statistics commonly used by Internet marketers. Gridocity.com does not deploy ad ware, spyware or any type of malware. If any of these applications are found on Gridocity.com please contact us at gridocity@gmail.com and they will be deleted immediately.

The information that we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded. It may also be used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor.
